Their search engine has the largest market share (about 85%!) to this day. But a change in the status quo can be seen on the horizon.  💡 As the old saying goes, competition never sleeps. Microsoft’s Bing search engine is in a distant 2nd place, but with the decision to integrate ChatGPT therein, they might be able to turn the whole situation around. ChatGPT, created by OpenAI, is incredible on its own, as we discussed a few weeks back **[here](https://www.facebook.com/762349331877783/posts/890025089110206).** This integration could change the way we browse the web. Not only will we get the search results of our query, but also the exact answer to our prompt. 🔔 Google probably recognized the threat the moment Microsoft invested $1 billion in OpenAI, which was further amplified when ChatGPT was made publicly available, causing quite a stir in the media.  🤖 They’re working on deploying their own chatbot called Bard, which will use different technology (namely LaMDA), but its application is similar to ChatGPT. So far, they have noticeably stumbled in introducing Bard’s capabilities to the public, having released a promotional clip in which the answer given by Bard turned out to be wrong. However, this is definitely not their last word. As the market leader, Google has everything to lose and will undoubtedly leave no stone unturned in this fight. 🏁 So, the search engine race is on, and it seems that the revolution awaits us at the finish line.
