People thinking about a small reward for themselves or just a moment of pleasure reach for chocolate, and they automatically transfer this behavior to the needs of their dogs. "My dog will definitely feel the same pleasure as me ..." and since dogs generally eat everything, especially from the hands of their owners, they immediately have proof of the validity of their point.
